| 6-9 power forward/center Gary ware of Dodge City (KS) CC was a third team All Jayhawk Western Division selection as a freshman. he averaged 10.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game for the Conquistadors. He blocked 1.8 shots per game, sixth in the conference and shot 54.9% from the field. Ware played high school basketball at Detroit (MI) Finney.
