| 6-4 junior guard Calrton Reed is an athletic wing and good defender who plays alongside Iowa signee Mike Henderson. He has improved his outside shooting and has a very good first step to the basket. Reed averaged just over 10 points, four rebounds, and three assists for the Trojans as a sophomore starter. He helped lead Waterloo East to a second place finish in the Class 4A state tournament. Reed, who scored a career high 21 points in the Trojans 67-57 quarterfinal win over Dubuque Wahlert, finished the tournament with a 13.6 points per game average helping him earn a spot of the Class 4A All Tournament Team. He is getting looks from Iowa, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Kansas, Valparaiso, Wyoming, Iowa State, Stanford, and Drake. |
