Woodlawn High School - Kentrell Gransberry (6-8, 240, 4.7) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana is a huge wide receiver target that is also a top basketball player.
Football:
Gransberry was an All-State WR/TE in football at Baton Rouge (LA) Woodlawn, and helped lead Woodlawn to the District 4-5A title in 2002 in football and he was named all-district and all-metro in 2002. He had 42 receptions for 888 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior. In his junior season he had 36 catches for 836 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Basketball:
Gransberry helped lead Woodlawn to the Louisiana Class 5A State boy's basketball championship in 2002 and he was named the MVP of the 2002 State Championship game. Woodlawn became the first team since Class 5A formed in 1991-92 to repeat as champs as they finished 39-0. Gransberry averaged 13.2 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game for the season.
Scouting Report:
-Gransberry could be another possible two-sport star on the next level. He is a tremendous physical specimen on the football field or the basketball court. He will likely wind up as a tight end on the next level.
