It didn’t take a lot of watching him this past season to figure out why Aldridge was going to be among the front-runners for the No. 1 spot on the evening of June 28. He was outstanding in every “big” game the Longhorns played (other than in the season-ending Elite Eight loss to LSU, where he was outplayed by Glen Davis). He still needs to get a little stronger and polished his low-post offensive skills.
