| If he isn’t the best all-around “player” in this draft, as many believe, then he is certainly the most complete backcourt prospect who will shake hands with David Stern on June 28. He’s a player who truly makes the guys he is playing with much more effective than they would be otherwise. He’s the early favorite to be the 2007 Rookie of the Year. |

Coach Romar on Brandon Roy
"Brandon is kind of a do-it-all player. He does a lot of things in a lot of different areas. He was first or second in rebounds, assists and scoring. The sky is the limit for Brandon. It's rare, especially in today's game, to have a player that good play so unselfishly. When one of your best players is your most unselfish, that carries over. By the end of last year, the team was very unselfish in its play. Brandon has a chance to be as good an offensive player as there is in this league." |
