J.R. Moore become the first Rhode Island verbal Premium Story

6-9 J.R. Moore of Worcester (MA) Academy has become the first player to verbally commit to Rhode Island, according to the Providence Journal. Moore played last year at Portland (OR) Benson Polytechnic High, where he averaged eleven points and nine rebounds per game. Benson finished fifth in last year’s Oregon Class AAAA state championship.
