Deon Thompson Discusses Recruiting		By Chris Monter Date: Jul 23, 2005 Deon Thompson, a 6-foot-9 center from Torrance (CA) High, is quickly emerging as one of the top big men on the West Coast. Thompson played in the ABCD camp and is playing with the Branch West Team Reebok in the Big Time Tournament. His stock has soared in the past few months as he has seen his weight drop from 293 pounds to 245. Thompson is an outstanding low post scorer, a rarity in today's high school hoops. College Basketball News caught up with Thompson at the Reebok Big Time.
