Orlando and Memphis pulled off the first big deal before Thursday's NBA trading deadline, as third year swingman Mike Miller and rookie forward Ryan Humphrey were shipped from the Magic to the Grizzlies for rookies Drew Gooden and Gordan Giricek.

Mike Miller is averaging a career-best 16.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. Ryan Humphrey is averaging just 1.8 points and 2.0 rebounds per game as rookie. He is shooting only 27% from the field.

Drew Gooden, the fourth overall selection in last year's draft, is averaging 12.1 points and 5.8 rebounds for the Grizzlies. His numbers had dropped off with the arrival of head coach Hubie Brown and he is averaging just 9.8 points and 4.9 rebounds this month, while shooting only 34.8% from the field. Gordan Giricek, a native of Croatia, averaged 11.2 points for Memphis. He was acquired from San Antonio for a 2004 second round pick and cash and played in the Rookie Challenge.
