Jon Brockman of Washington shined as he finished with 24 points and 21 rebounds, 13 on the offensive glass for Cherry, Bekaert & Holland. He made ten of 21 shots from the field and all four free throw attempts. Last minute addition Kenny Hansbrouck from Siena had 15 points. Korvotney Barber from Auburn had twelve points and eleven rebounds. Wes Matthews of Marquette added eleven points. Jermaine Taylor of Central Florida led all scorers with 30 points in a losing effort. He made eleven of 24 from the field and was seven of nine from the line.
