Pargo Dishes 18 Assists in PIT Opener

Arkansas guard Jannergo Pargo dished out 18 assists to lead Naval Shipyard in a 95-74 win over Sales System Ltd. The former Razorback had as many assists as Sales System as he dished out ten in the first half and eight in the second period.

Naval Shipyard finished with 32 assists and just 12 turnovers, compared to 18 assists and 20 turnovers. Pargo's passing helped Naval Shipyard have six double figure scorers among their eight players. Andy Ellis of Texas Tech was seven of 14 from the field and had 17 points. Big East rivals Preston Shumpert of Syracuse had 15 points and Chris Moss from West Virginia scored 14.

Billy Knight of UCLA paced Sales Systems with 21 points and Villanova's Brooks Sales added 18 points and eleven rebounds. They were the only double figure scorers.
