Keivn Durant, a 6-foot-8 junior forward from the DC Blue Devils was named the Boo Williams Invitational MVP, even though his team lost in the semifinals. Durant, who helped lead Mouth of Wilson (VA) Oak Hill Academy to a USA Today number one ranking, had a 37 and 28 point showing and scored 15 points in their semifinal loss to eventual champion Boo Williams, despite taking a thumb to the eye.
