James and Brown named co-MVP in Capital Classic

The Silver Jerseys defeated the Black Jerseys by a
score of 107-102 in front of a crowd of 18,424 at the Jordan Capital Classic at the MCI Center. LeBron James of Akron (OH) St. Vincent St. Mary was voted the game's Co-MVP, his third MVP award in three post-season high school All-Star games. James led his Black jerseys with 34 points, six assists and 12 rebounds. Shannon Brown of Maywood (IL) Proviso East had 27 points and eight assists to share Co-MVP honors.
Shannon Brown scored 24 points in the second half to lead his team back from a four-point halftime deficit. Chris Paul added 18 points and six assists in the win.
LeBron James led the black jerseys by getting them started early and pumping in 17 points in the first half. Linas Kleiza chipped in 16 points and ten rebounds while Kris Humphries added 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Prior to the National Game, the white jerseys defeated the blue jerseys in the Regional Game by a score of 108-86. The game's MVP was Georgetown-bound guard Matt Causey who led his team with 13 points, eight assists and four rebounds.
