Norfolk Naval Shipyard defeated Portsmouth Sports Club 89-67 in the final game of Day 2 of the Portsmouth Invitational.

B.J. Raymond from Xavier led Norfolk Naval Shipyard with a game-high 19 points. Marcus Landry of Wisconsin had 14 points and Lawrence Kinnard from UAB and Ryan Toolson of Utah Valley added 13 points each. Al Fisher from Kent State contributed twelve points and David Holston of Chicago State added eleven.

Portsmouth Sports Club was paced by Leo Lyons of Missouri, who scored twelve of his 15 points in the second half. Tyrese Rice from Boston College had 14 points and Weyinmi Efejuku of Providence added twelve. Late addition Ben McCauley of North Carolina State scored eleven.
