Russell Robinson's off-balance jumper with 11.1 seconds left pulled New York (NY) Rice to a 52-51 win over Los Angeles (CA) Westchester in a matchup of previously unbeaten teams. Scott Cutley's three-point attempt with three seconds left was wide left and the Raiders were able to run out the clock.

7-3 center Shagari Alleyene led the Raiders with 20 points, eight rebounds and three blocked shots. He made ten of 13 from the field. Arturo Dubois had eleven points and Robinson, the MVP of the City of Palms Classic, added ten.

UCLA-bound Trevor Ariza led all scorers with 22 points as he made ten of twelve from the field. He added six rebounds, four steals and three blocked shots. 6-0 senior Robert Brown scored 13 for the Comets and Kent State recruit Scott Cutley had eight points.

Rice plays St. Patrick's at 5:00 in a rematch of the City of Palms Classic finals. Westbury Christian will play Westchester at 2:00 p.m.
