Minnetonka (MN) Hopkins announced their upcoming schedule as they look to repeat as Minnesota Class AAAA champions. The Royals will be led by three outstanding seniors as they return four of their starters. Kris Humphries played for the U.S. team in the recent COPBA Tournament in Venezuela and was one of the top players at the this summer's Nike All-American camp. He committed to Duke and figures to be a McDonald's All-American. He is not the only Division I recruit on the team.

Humphries is joined in the frontcourt by 6-8 Dan Coleman, nephew of former Minnesota and Maryland big man, Ben Coleman, who played five seasons in the NBA. Coleman committed to Boston College. Darren Clarke, who scored 41 points for the Howard Pulley Panthers at the Super Showcase this summer, committed to St. Louis earlier. Junior Mitch Henke is among the top Minnesotans in the Class of 2004.

Hopkins will also play in the Slam Dunk to the Beach in December and at Duke University in January. They will also face Class AAA champions Minneapolis Patrick Henry at home and on the road. The Patriots returned guard Lawrence McKenzie, who committed to Oklahoma and junior Steve Neal.
