Last minute addition DaShaun Wood of Wright State was named the Portsmouth Invitational MVP after leading the Holiday Inn Portsmouth to a 113-103 win over Cherry, Bekeart & Holland. Wood finished with 47 points and 27 assists in three games. He was joined on the All-Tournament team by Holiday Inn Portsmouth teammate Russell Carter of Notre Dame and Creighton's Anthony Tolliver.
