Portsmouth Sports Club Rallies for 74-70 Win

The Portsmouth Sports Club overcame an early 17-5 defecit to rally for a 74-70 win over Beach Barton Ford. Both teams struggled with their shooting in the first half. Portsmouth Sports Club made just ten of 44 shots (22.2%), while Beach Barton Ford was 13 of 38 (34.2%)

Cartier Martin from Kansas State and Missouri State's Blake Ahearn each scored 14 points for Portsmouth Sports Club. However, both players struggled with their shot. Martin was five of 20 from the field and only one of ten in the first half. Ahearn was one of eight in the first half before scoring 12 points in the second half. Martin also grabbed 13 boards. Courtney Sims from Michigan added 13 points and Caleb Green of Oral Roberts added eleven points and nine boards. Christian Burns of Philadelphia was just one of ten from the field, but grabbed ten caroms.

Sean Marshall from Boston College led Beach Barton Ford with 22 points on nine of 23 shooting and Dan Nwaelele of Air Force added ten in the loss.
