Benilde-St. Margaret's rallied from a 13-point deficit to defeat Woodland Hills (CA) Taft 56-54 in the second game of the Timberwolves Gatorade Shootout.

Armond Battle, a thin 6-foot-6 junior forward, led the Red Knights with 16 points as made eight of nine from the line. Jordan Taylor, a six-foot junior guard who has already committed to Wisconsin, had twelve points. However, he was just five of 14 from the field and two of ten from the line. Peter Ritchie added ten points. The Red Knights improved to 6-2.

Bryce Smith, a 6-foot-1 junior guard, led Taft with 16 points as he made six of nine shots from the field, including four of eight from three-point range. Justin Hawkins, a 6-foot-3 junior, added nine points.

Six-foot junior guard Larry Drew was held to just four points, but added ten assists and three steals. Garrett Green, a 6-foot-10 forward who signed with LSU, made just one of six shots as he finished with three points. Bernard Kamwa, a 6-foot-8 junior center added eleven rebounds as did 6-foot-5 sophomore Terran Carter.
