Mobile (AL) Leflore used their quickness and athleticism to force 25 Minnetonka (MN) High turnovers in a 72-66 win in the opening game of the Minnesota Timberwolves Shootout.

Five-foot-10 guard Joshua Wesley led the Rattlers with 18 points as he made six of seven shots from the field, nicluding all three three-pointers. Christopher Blake, a 6-foot-5 senior guard, was six of eight from the field as he added 16 points. Six-foot-5 senior forward Derrick Young had 15 points and 14 rebounds. Six-foot-3 junior Nick Williams, who committed to Marquette, had nine points, eight rebounds, five assists and four steals. Marquette assistant Benny Seltzer was in attendance. Leflore improved to 17-1 with the win.

Anthony Tucker, a 6-foot-4 junior guard, led the Skippers with 16 points. C.J. Erickson, a 6-foot-6 forward, added 13 points and eight rebounds. Minnetonka fell to 6-3 with the loss.
