Sales Systems Wins Consolation Game at P.I.T.

Sales Systems defeated Freedom Automotive 71-55 to stay alive in the consolation bracket. VCU center L.F. Likcholitov led all players with 16 points and 14 rebounds. The game was plagued by poor shooting as Sales Systems made just 28 of 83 (33.7%) from the field and was only two of ten (20%) from the floor. Freedom Automotive shot even worse, making only 24 of 82 (29.3%) from the field and two of 15 (13.3%) from three-point range

Billy Knight of UCLA added 13 for Sales Systems and Shaw's Ronald Murray had twelve points. Brook Sales from Villanova finished with nine points and twelve caroms.

Dwayne Archbold of Siena had 15 points for Freedom Automotive and Altron Jackson from South Florida scored twelve.

Sales Systems advanced to the consolation championship, while Freedom Automotive was eliminated from the tourney with two losses.
