Spencer Hawes had 26 in FOH Seattle title win

Friends of Hoop Seattle used a 13-5 run in the second half as they rolled to a 78-61 win to capture their second straight Nike Main Event championship over the D.C. Blue Devils. Friends of Hoop Seattle defeated Cecil Kirk 87-59 to win the 2004 title.

The D.C. Blue Devils led 34-32 at halftime as Jerome Dyson scored eight points. Cliff Dixon added seven points and Kevin Durant chipped in with six. Tyson Lawson added four points. Spencer Hawes led Friends of Hoop Seattle with twelve points. Ryan Anderson and Jamelle McMillian added six each for FOH in the first half.

Reserves Michael Duty and Jared Stohl sparked a 13-5 run as they expanded a 44-42 lead.

Hawes led all scorers with 26 points and Isaiah Thomas added ten. Durant and Bobby Maze each scored 14 points to lead the Devils. Lawson scored ten in the loss.
