Portsmouth Sports Club moves on to PIT title game

Portsmouth Sports Club advanced to the Saturday's championship game with a 92-59 rout of Norfolk Naval Shipyard.

Portsmouth Sports Club was led by Quemont Greer of DePaul, who scored 23 points on ten of 24 shooting. Chuck Hayes of Kentucky added 18 points and eleven caroms. Houston guard Andre Owens, a late replacement, had 14 points. Doron Perkins of Santa Clara and TCU's Corey Santee finished with ten points each.

Norfolk Naval Shipyard was paced by Mindaugas Katelynas of Chattanooga, who had 17 points and ten boards. Omar Thomas from UTEP was the only other double figure scorer with 15 points.
