Rice Beats Raritan 56-41 in Prime Time Shootout

New York City (NY) Rice used a 33-19 second half to pull away from Hazlet (NJ) Raritan 56-41 in the second game of day three of the 2005 Prime Time Shootout.

Juniors Edgar Sosa and Curtis Kelly paced the Raiders with 17 and 16 points, respectively. Sosa was three of five from beyond the arc and dished seven assists. Kelly was eight of 15 from the field and added 13 rebounds, two blocked shots and five steals.

Qu'rraan Calhoun and Marques Johnson had 15 points each for Raritan, who fell to 18-3. Dave Lonnay added ten for the Rockets.
