Josh Vaughan commits to North Dakota State

Josh Vaughan, a 6-foot-3 guard from Braham (MN) High, has committed to North Dakota State, according to sources close to the program. Vaugah, son of Bomber head coach Bob Vaughan. helped led team to Class AA title as a junior and a 31-2 mark. He scored 14 points in 73-47 championship game win in their first ever state tournament appearance.

Josh Vaughan plays alongside Isaiah Dahlman, who is considered the top junior in the state and Braham could be the top team in Minnesota next year. Vaughan is also the Bombers' quarterback on the football team. He is the first commitment for North Dakota State, which is moving up to Division I.

Vaughan saw his recruitment interest pick up with a strong spring and summer with the Howard Pulley Panthers AAU program.

Vaughan also receiver interest from schools such as Creighton, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Northern Iowa and Drake.
