North defeats East 103-87 to advance to title game

The North (2-2) defeated the East 103-87 as forward Brandon Rush of Durham (NC) Mt. Zion Christian had 25 points, 15 rebounds, six assists and a pair of steals. The South and North will square off at Sunday morning in the Festival's seventh annual gold medal game.

The North led 25-24 after one period, but outscored the East 20-4 in the secind period to build a 17-point halftime lead.

Josh McRoberts had 20 points, on 9-of-13 shooting, and 12 rebounds, while Eric Devendorf finished with 17 points and eight rebounds, and Luke Zeller contributed 11 points.

Gerald Henderson led the East with 19 points. He laso grabbed ten boards. Andray Blatche finished with 18 points and a team best 15 boards. North Carolina verbal Marcus Ginyard scored 16 points and Greg Paulus added eleven.
