Vincennes (IN) University CC advanced to the semifinals of the consolation bracket as they defeated Lon Morris 80-71.

Vincennes was led by sophomore guard Dale Parsons, who scored 15 of his 18 points in the first half. Tyrone Young scored 13 of his 15 points in the first half. Carl Landry, who scored just two points in the first half and Willie Irick added 14 points for the TrailBlazers.

Freshman Michael Neal paced Lon Morris with 31 points as he made eleven of 25 shots, including five of 13 three-pointers. He scored 64 points in the two games. Julius Hurd had 18 points and twelve boards and sharp shooter Andrew Patterson added ten points.

Lon Morris ended the season 26-8, while Vincennes improved to 30-5.
