Westbury Christian juniors shine in 5th place win

Westbury Christian used a 29-16 rebounding advantage to earn a 67-61 win over Sugar Land (TX) Clements to win fifth place in the Texas division at the Academy National Invitational.

6-8 junior Obi Ikeakor had a team-high 20 points and nine rebounds for the Wildcats. 6-8 junior big man Jeremy Barr had 19 points. Tony Taccolini added ten points for the winners.

Junior guard David Devezin led all scorers with 27 points as he made eight of 16 from the field and all eight attempts from the line. 6-3 senior Matt Caplan added 15 points as he made four three-pointers. Junior outside shooter Chris Pinkalla added eleven.
