Missouri City (TX) Hightower bounced back from their opening game loss to cruise to a 65-40 win over Tulsa (OK) Booker T. Washington in consolation play at the Academy National Invitational.
6-8 sophomore Darris Santee had 14 points for the second straight game, making four three-pointers. He also grabbed seven rebounds and blocked two shots. 6-2 junior Marcus Whitfield added twelve for the Hurricanes. Sophomore point guard Nic Wise, who committed to
Arizona
as a freshman, had six points and four assists.
7-0 sophomore center Shawntell Norman had eight points, five rebounds and four blocked shots for the Hornets.
Oklahoma

Quentin Chaney
made just one of four shots as he finished with four points, six rebounds and ten turnovers.
