6-11 center Steve Smith of Sioux Falls (SD) O'Gorman has committed to Creighton. Smith has seen his recruiting interest level pick up perhaps more than a player in the country since the start of the summer. Smith was receiving attention from North Central Conference schools, but his strong play in the Mr. Basketball Showcase, Dakota Showcase, adidas Big Time Tournament and Price Chopper Kansas City Prep Invitational, caused many Division I schools to take notice. | |
