Second year player Qyntel Woods scores 37 points and Zach Randolph, who continued his dominant play in the Rocky Mountain Revue as he finished with 27 points and eight rebounds as Portland defeated Phoenix 95-90.

2002 top pick Qyntel Woods made 15 of 23 shots from the field and added twelve rebounds in the win. Zach Randolph made twelve of 18 field goal attempts. Ime Udoka, who played at Portland State three years ago, finished with 17 points and eleven caroms.

Joe Johnson, who is entering his third NBA season, led the Suns with 32 points. He made ten of 19 from the field and ten of 13 from the line. He added three assists, three steals and six rebounds. First round pick Zarko Cabarkapa had 25 points on ten of 18 shooting from the field. He made three three-pointers and added seven rebounds. Jake Tsakalidis had twelve points and 2002 first rounder Casey Jacobsen scored eight.

Phoenix plays Chicago Sunday at 4:00, while Portland meets Dallas Sunday at 6:00.
