The Class of 2012 point guards is one of the weakest in memory, especially after playmakers being selected as the top overall pick, especially after Kyrie Irving (2011), John Wall (2010) and Derrick Rose (2008) being selected as the top overall pick. Only two point guards, Damian Lillard of Weber State and Kendall Marshall from North Carolina, figure to be selected in the lottery.
