Roger Brown's defeated Sales System 74-71 in overtime in the first night game of Day 2 of the Portsmouth Invitational.

Roger Brown's had four players in double figures and three others scored nine points. Local player Ricardo Ratliffe of Missouri had a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds. Ken Horton of Central Connecticut State added 12 points and Terrance Henry and late addition Carlton Brown from Colorado chipped in with ten points each.

Dayton’s Chris Johnson led Sales System with 18 points as he made four three-pointers. Jet Chang of Division II BYU-Hawaii had 13 points and Iowa’s Matt Gatens and Eric Griffin of Campbell added 12 points each. They shot just 27.9 from the field in the second half and overtime.
