Illinois recruit Brian Randle leads Team Chicago

The Wendy's All-Star Shootout, which is entering its fifth year, is considered one of the country's top high school basketball all-star games. The game features top seniors from the Chicagoland area versuses their counterparts from New York. Chicago took a 3-1 series lead with a 96-93 win in 2002. 18 Wendy's All-Star Shootout Alumni participated in the 2003 NCAA Tournament. This year's game will take place on Sunday, April 20 at the DePaul University Athletic Center in Chicago at noon.

Team Chicago will be coached by Anthony Longstreet (Crane High School) and Glen Hefferman (Rich Central High School).  Team New York will be coached by Bob Cimmino (Mt. Vernon High School) and Bob Oliva (Christ the King High School).

Team Chicago features such notable players as Illinois recruits Richard McBride (Lanphier) and Brian Randle (Notre Dame) and second team All-State player Othyus Jeffers (Hubbard). 

Team New York will be led by Mr. Basketball New York State Tyler Relph (McQuaid Jesuit) and Syracuse recruit Louis McCroskey (St. Raymond's).  Rosters for both teams, including the player's high school and college commitments as follows:

The game will be televised live on the top ranked stations in both Chicago and New York.  ABC7 CHICAGO and WABC-TV New York will carry the game live at 12:00 pm (CST).
