St. Paul Johnson Bounces Back To Win Third

Defending Class AAA St. Paul Johnson bounced back from an 80-74 loss to Hyde Park in the Best Buy Holiday Classic semifinals to defeat Minnesota Transitions 93-77 to capture third place.

Minnesota Transitions led St. Paul Johnson 42-39 at hafltime, but the Governors' depth allowed them to pull away in the second half.

St. Paul Johnson was led by Estan Tyler, who had 25 points. Marcus Marshall had 20 and Anthony Lee added 16 points. Roosevelt Scott scored 13.

Minnesota Transitions was paced by 25 points from Rodney Owens. Kyle Noreen added 20 points and Matt Lanier scored 15.
