Hopkins advanced to the Best Buy Holiday Classic title game with a 103-82 win over Minnesota Transitions. The Class AAAA champion Hopkins will face Hyde Park, which upset St. Paul Johnson 80-74, in the title tilt. Johnson meets Minnesota Transitions for third place.

Hopkins was led by Minnesota signee Joe Coleman, who had a game-high 29 points. Marvin Singleton, who signed with Northern Iowa, had 18 points and Zach Stahl scored 15. Junior point guard Siyani Chambers added 13 points and Andre McDonald finished with 11.

Kyle Noreen paced Minnesota Transitions with 26 points. Rodney Owens had 20 points and Matt Lanier added 15.
